See I've had a rough enough year - its why I'm not as active as I used to be. I can just get my commercial work done (as its the priority) and no real enthusiasm for my own stuff (probably because I'm shattered by the time I get that done!) - so sometimes I see a image and just SEE it. This was the case here for



I was perusing for a commercial work and image caught my eye. At the time I was buried under 4 books to get out before the Holidays. See the problem is once my head see's something it has to be done and it annoys me, and annoys me and ANNOYS me until I actually do something. I can safely say this took 2.5 hours as that's all I had to spend on it. It was originally meant to be the other way around (as in upside down - don't ask!)

Anyway like I said amazeballz that it got this wonderful feature and I cant thank enough for setting 2013 up to be a good year all round!

Here comes the Oscar speech:

I'd like to thank everyone that supported me this year. Some of you know whats been happening, for those that don't its just a multitude of LIFE getting in the way. So to any new comers I usually tweet stupid random stuff, and post more on my Facebook.

I'm doing a lot of my own photography work now for the simple reason I hold the copyright. I did a wonderful shoot with a young model, Courtney and hopefully in the next few weeks you will see the results. It really was just so special, when everything come together right kind of thing. So any travelling or Irish models or designers that want to do a bit more creative work let me know. I'm planning several shoots with Sevlene (who happens to be a best friend and is Emmy nominated hair dresser for stage and film) minus the gin and me having speed wobbles with the camera! They should be good and really out there!

Cheerio minions! May all our dreams and manifestations come true in 2013, year of the water snake!

I still don't have much time to get on here - ahh the life of a freelancer. Can't beat it!

2011 has been a year of it eh? When the world economy go down the swanny here I am making my way in life. I was told it would take 4 years - I've done it in 2. How - most will ask? Hard work, graft, no bitching online about ANYTHING work related (hair does not count coz its HAIR!), being your own artist and developing your own style. That's how. Oh and a healthy dose of old legend Jazz and rockabilly music to keep you pottering along.

The last feature of 2011 and first of 2012 is out in Photoshop Creative Issue 82, Page 11. Nice way to end 2011 and start 2012. Here's to us all being fabulous darlllings this year.

I'll try and get to everyone and thank you individually but if I don't it's because I:
1) fell asleep after all the chocolate cake
2) passed out from chocolate cake inhalation
3) fell over and whacked my head coz my balance was off due to the large amount of chocolate cake in my stomach!

What age am I now you ask? Well old enough to know that a bucket of Andrews liver salts allow you to shove more cake in yer face!

No shoes, (ok well new walking shoes coz mine now leak) or bags. It's all Up-cycling and Vintage Darlings!!

FUNNY STORY!

We dont do the religious/Easter thing in the house, but we get wee pressies for each other. All Da wants is a bottle of wine.

GRAND!

So in goes Mum to Aldi and gets his bottle of wine.  

Checkout girl: "I'm sorry Madam, you can't buy that today. It's Good Friday after all"

Mum: "Ya what? Just take for the fucking bottle will ya!"

Checkout girl: "We cant sell alochol today"

Mum: "It's IRELAND!! We're all fucking Alchos!"

Checkout Girl: "Please refrain from speaking to me that way - we cannot sell alochol today"

Mum: "Well I NEVER...."

So home she comes in a complete strop that she couldn't get wine on Good Friday.

I made her a Gn'T (Bombay Sapphire now) for good measure!


If your offended by  the above incident and my serving alochol on Good Friday - I had a 6-pack of Corona........ SO THERE!!!

So coz I'm a cheap bitch I'm upcycling a genuine 1980's dress, accessorized with upcycled Debenhams bag, and another genuine 1980's velvet jacket.

Shoes will be new (when I find them) as will the underwear!

I'm also a bit burned out........FOCUS EITHNE!!!

Yes I'm alive, no I'm not in a good mood.


A few things been aggravating me recently and I usually don't do rants or shit in public but today I've broke!

1) Why do people think I do work for nothing? Um no. I have 3 yes 3 TF's in. That's it. Rest is my own and on severe print deadlines with publishers so time wasters with camera phone images can FUCK OFF!  

2) I know! I know! We never as retouchers or artists get credit. But when ye do TFP or TF's shouldn't they at least credit ya as a thank you?

3) The "you are now leaving dA to an outside website" is getting HIGHLY aggravating!

4) People who can't explain themselves

5) People who say as their dog runs over to you and your dog (mine is on the lead and a ball in his mouth) "Oh he/she is friendly!" My dog is a fucking physco and will KILL YOUR DOG so FUCK OFF! *le sigh*

6) Ye break yer (well left arm in this case) and what thanks to you get helping people? Abuse. Just pure abuse!

7) The Ecomony! 'nuff said!

8) Copycaters. There is quite a few artists out there I have noticed in the last month copying other artists ideas and I mean right down to each single stock used. Seriously! GET SOME IMAGINATION! Do some research as well while yer at it!

9) Ass kissers! It'll only get them so far.

10) Why the fuck won't my FTP work? Seriously!!!! WORK DAM U!!!
